DON'T EVER GIVE UP

Welcome to Bob Spurlin's web page and thank you for allowing us the opportunity to introduce you to Bob's new book entitled: "DON'T EVER GIVE UP".

We wish to make you aware of the release of Bob's book, "Don’t Ever Give-Up," which is available and ready for purchase. The author is a disabled 62-year-old man, who preached and served in churches of Christ for thirty years before contracting the crippling disease of multiple sclerosis. Four days after Mayo Clinic made this stunning diagnosis their daughter, Bethany Ann, lost her life in an automobile accident one month before her 17th birthday. Following the grief and becoming adjusted to a bedridden existence several concerned Christians encouraged Bob to start writing. In time the local newspaper began publishing his weekly pieces on the slipping morals of society and other issues facing the community; other articles for Christian publications followed this. As a novice it took him time to become accustomed to a computer, which would make his writing easier. Bob’s wife and son introduced him to the computer showing him the simplest tasks. With each passing day he became more adjusted to the various features of the computer, which made his writing easier

Brother Tom Holland, noted writer, and brother Paul Sain, book publisher, encouraged Bob to write on the general theme of human adversity. The first book was "Tackling Life's Troubles," and the second was "DIAL 911: Essentials to Living Life in the 21st Century." Bob's most recent book is "Don’t Ever Give-Up." As a result of the three books published it has given this family the ability to establish a special "medical fund" at their bank. The profit from every book sold funds a special "medical" account. The Spurlin family seeks independence and by your assistance with the purchase of the books it gives them freedom to take care of all medical and related expenses.

The difficulties and trials of life can be overwhelming at times. Family, financial difficulties, job, and health problems can undermine our confidence while making life troublesome. The Apostle Paul exhorted the Galatian Christians: "And let us not be weary in well doing for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not" (Galatians 6:9; Romans 2:7; II Thess. 3:13). Summarizing Paul's words states in effect "Don't Ever Give-Up," when faced with the tragic circumstances that come our way.
