We are using it as an outreach tool for our members and friends. We make these as complimentary copies courtesy of the church. It has been very well received and we learn much about peoples needs when they give us reasons for using the book. I enjoy this website and hesitate to mention a secular one which I write for (on a voluntary basis as of now) but I do some columns. www.49countynews.com kenneth jackson Kenneth Jackson <kjackson@watvc.com> Winfield, Al United States - Wednesday, November 19, 2000-2007 at 15:53:17 (EST) Lookin forward to be reading one of your books. Michael Grooms <groomsm@bellsouth.net> Lebanon, TN USA - Thursday, September 18, 2000-2007 at 12:13:42 (EDT) Hi Mr. Spurlin, What a great site. It would suprise you if i told you where i am, i am sitting in my nursing classes at UAH, and we are learning how to surf the net-something we all should know how to do. I wanted to say i have really enjoyed all of your books my father has passed them down to me (he is an elder at the Hartselle church of Christ.) We all pray for your comfort and care and we are truly blessed to have Mrs. Spurlin as part of our church! Have a great evening and God Bless!! Mark Mark E. Reynolds <mkevan@netzero.net> Hartselle, Al USA - Tuesday, September 09, 2000-2007 at 19:00:17 (EDT) Brother Bob, I was thinking as I read your latest newsletter, that an appropiate scripture under item #2.is Prob 23:7 "For as he thinketh in his heart,so is he:". All our physical actions are first thoughts(eating, walking, sex whatever). Any action that requires thought, can be governed by the weighing of its righteousness.--You had a very good article; just thought I'd throw that idea in for any future articles along those lines. Sorry I have not visited you recently but hope to do so soon. Take care, Guy Guy Brown Hartselle,, Al USA - Sunday, August 17, 2000-2007 at 16:37:23 (EDT) I and my family really enjoy your books and newsletters. Love your website. I am glad you put the "comments" from Lucy. Those little ones sure do grab a place in your heart. Don't you suppose the reason she is leary fo menfolks in general is the strong timber of your voice? I once had a little long-haired "cheewawa"cross named Dusty. She was a lot like lucy. When she died we all grieved for along time. By the we had a large dog of mixed blood (boxer, shephard, &leopard dog, sometimes called catahoula) who looked all over for her. They were great pals. I know the Bible says we are "to have dominion over the animals", but sometimes they wrap us around their paws. Our Lord knew what He was doing when He gave us these wonderful creatures. I do hope Lucy will change her little mind and love you like you loved her "master". Best wishes for comfort & peace of mind for you & your family. I have enjoyed our recent conversations via telephone. Paul spoke at our Family Bible School and did a fabulous job. I know you and Beverly are proud of him & Stephanie. May God continue to bless you in your work as an author. You are touching many lives with your work and ministry. Keep up the good work!
